How to get to Sesame Street

We squeezed in a trip to Sesame Place before we leave the East coast.  We headed north the night before to meet up with Cole.  It is always so much fun getting to see him.  Rhone made himself quite at home in Cole's apartment and loved checking out all the interesting things.  Then we headed off to the hotel for the night.  I guess it's been a little bit since we have done a hotel and Rhone was pretty excited about it.  In the morning we loaded up, grabbed some breakfast, and headed off to Sesame Place.  It was one roasty day, but we (well most especially Rhone) had a great time.  The lines for the rides were pretty short, Rhone finally gave Elmo a hi 5, and the water park was fun.  A big thanks to Here's to the Heroes program for getting us in free and to all of our friends on tips to make the day fun.

Cole and the kiddos

Ben had the "Spicy Elmo" at Einstein Brothers Bagels on the way to Sesame Place.

We made it

The big roller coaster was the first ride Rhone went on.

Mom and Rhone swinging away.

Rhone went on Elmo's rocket.  I can't believe how big he is getting.

Sylvie watching the live Elmo show.

Rhone watching the Elmo show.  Rhone was on the big screen dancing and Mr. Noodle came and danced with me.  It was pretty exciting.

Rhone is somewhere in that chaos. He loved it.
Sylvie is such a sweet baby.  She really puts up with so much.
We cooled off in the car for lunch and a rest, but by 3 pm Rhone could handle no more.  So here's a picture of him sleeping next to Bert's hand prints on the way to the car.  This one's for Papa.

It's so surprising how teeny Sylvie actually is! Those pictures we (moms) take of our babies when they're propped up against something and all their little chubs gets squished together makes them look so chunky! But that picture of her on Ben's lap really surprised me! She's so petite!
